When did Scamp Trailers start building campers?
Scamp Trailers (Evelands, Inc.) has had an interesting journey since the early hazy 1970’s. The story began with a partnership with Boler (a now defunct Canadian fiberglass RV manufacturer). A pick up the pieces story after that partnership with Boler ended. Rapid growth and expansion and then a devastating fire that sparked a rebuild of the company and modernization of the manufacturing facilities. What is the difference between a standard model Scamp Trailer and a deluxe model?
Standard model Scamps have fiberglass cabinetry, deluxe models have hardwood cabinetry.

How many people can sleep in a Scamp Trailer?
Each length of Scamp can comfortably sleep a different number of people. The 13 foot model can sleep two to three people. It’s probably best with two adults and one child. The 16 foot model can sleep up to four people. The 19 foot 5th wheel model can sleep up to six people.
Do Scamp Trailers come with bathrooms?
A Scamp Trailer can be ordered with or without a bathroom. There are various layouts available for each of the trailer lengths. All Scamp bathrooms are “wet baths”, which means the toilet and showering area are combined.
How is a Scamp Trailer different from other brands?
One difference is the construction of the floor. Scamp does not have a full fiberglass floor. The fiberglass shell is bolted to a wooden floor through the metal frame. The wood subfloor is treated with a preservative, but the underside of the camper floor is open to the elements. The floors of a Scamp are not insulated. They do have a vinyl floor covering on the inside.
